Email Marketing Manager

Rocksbox is looking for an analytical, result oriented marketer to join our team as Email Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for our member email strategy including acquisition and retention, plus manage acquisition marketing campaigns and provide analytics to the marketing team. The ideal candidate has a passion for email and digital marketing, and loves turning data into action that will grow a business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an overall email marketing strategy (acquisition, engagement and retention)
  • Create and deploy customer segmentation and cohort-specific targeting strategy
  • Oversee email campaign execution, including creative briefs, list management, campaign set up, implementation, execution and analysis
  • Execute A/B testing of emails, landing pages, audiences, and creative including implementation, analysis and strategy recommendations
  • Manage campaign creation, analysis and optimization of direct marketing campaigns including Facebook, Adwords, Bing and Yahoo platforms.
  • Manage relationship with our email service provider and advertising partners, including contract negotiation and invoice management
  • Partner with engineering to build landing pages, workflows and other projects, plus troubleshoot issues
  • Provide analytics support for recurring reporting and adhoc analysis

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in email marketing
  • Experience managing email campaigns in ExactTarget, Iterable, MailChimp and/or other similar email marketing platforms
  • Experience building and optimizing campaigns in Adwords, Facebook Power Editor
  • Proficient at Excel – competent in pivot tables, v-lookup, chart and graph building
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or subscription brands
  • Experience in direct response marketing
  • Comfortable with deadline-driven projects and quick turnarounds
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Analytical thinker – able to understand target metrics and goals
  • Collaborative team player. Able to work with multiple functional teams.
  • Passion for fashion and/or accessories is a huge plus!
